Xanthe (Zan-tha) Thomassen is the interim executive director for National Vote at Home Institute and is responsible for the expansion of vote by mail, absentee, and early voting into state and federal levels.In her previous role with IBM, she served as a Vice President of Global Business Services and supported development opportunities for fortune 500 companies. Xanthe was responsible for 25,000 employees worldwide and was instrumental in growing revenues by more than 30% over a 5-year period.Before promotion to executive ranks, Xanthe served as a senior leader within IBM and is a certified project manager, and worked across multiple sectors including government relations. In addition, Xanthe helped implement global expansion to our North America accounts and worked across India, the Philippines, Mexico & Costa Rica to support our fortune 500 clients.Xanthe wanted to pay it forward from her great successes in corporate America and to be on the right side of history she chose to work for a non-profit that supported voter's rights and the right we all have to vote.Xanthe holds a master’s degree in economics and applied mathematics and currently resides in Boulder, Colorado with her wife Dana. In her free time, Xanthe is an ultra-trail runner and a cyclist.
